Musical Costume Info

Company Costumes for your Off-Night
Costume Parade to check costumes: Friday, January 28th, 2011
Bring your costume with you next Friday.

Ladies Costume:
  • Shirt – poet or peasant style (colors: neutrals, ecru, beige, ivory, etc…)
  • Skirt – Long A-line or peasant style (colors: earth tones, fall colors, or jewel tones)
  • Nude stockings
  • Shoes – dance or character, flats, ballet slippers, or moccasins
  • Optional additions – belt, scarf, or bandana

Gentlemen Costume:
  • Shirt – poet (full) style (colors: neutrals, ecru, gray, muted colors)
  • Pants – dark sweatpants (to be made into knickers)
  • Soccer socks or socks to the knee
  • Shoes – dark shoes (no sneakers)
  • Optional additions – Jeff or newsboy cap, bandana, or ascot

If you have been chosen to be in the final Ballroom scene you will need the following;
Ladies:
  • Ball gown – formal old fashion dress, prom gown, Bridesmaid dress

Gentlemen:
  • Dress clothes – poet shirt or over-sized dress shirt, dress pants, vest and/or suit jacket



NOTE: Sewers & costume helpers are needed after school. Meet Milagros (the costume director) in room C112 (the dressing/makeup room in the hall behind the stage) next Wed. Jan. 26 – Fri. Jan 28 at 3pm – 6pm to help or email Dr. Croom to let him know your availability: pcroom@neshaminy.k12.pa.us
